Rental prices in Bali are quoted per day, but almost nobody pays the daily rate. The longer you take the bike, the lower the price per day falls — often by half. Here is what things actually cost in 2026 and where the money goes.
Scooters: the everyday option
An automatic scooter is what most visitors ride. In our fleet they start at around 150,000 IDR per day for a few days, drop to roughly 150,000–175,000 IDR per day on a weekly booking, and land near 2–2.5 million IDR for a full month. A 150cc scooter such as a Honda PCX or Yamaha NMax handles two people and a beach bag comfortably; a smaller 125cc is fine for one person in town.
Motorcycles: from 200,000 IDR per day
Real motorcycles start at about 200,000 IDR per day for a 150cc adventure bike and climb with engine size. A 250cc sportbike sits in the 250,000–400,000 IDR range, a 650cc twin around 900,000–1,600,000 IDR, and the largest bikes in the fleet go above 2 million IDR per day. Larger bikes often have a minimum rental period — it is shown on the bike’s own page.
Cars
A compact automatic car starts at about $20 per day and a seven-seater at about $25 — worth considering if you are travelling with family or during the rainy season.
What is included and what is not
A helmet comes with every motorcycle and scooter rental. The registration document travels with the bike. Insurance is optional and quoted separately. Fuel is not included: you get the bike with what is in the tank and return it the same way. Petrol is cheap by European standards, and a scooter tank costs a few dollars to fill.
Delivery
We deliver across Bali — Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud and further out. Delivery is charged by distance and is often free on longer rentals; ask when you book.
Why the cheapest offer is rarely the best deal
You will see scooters advertised for far less than the numbers above, usually from someone renting out one or two old bikes. The saving disappears the moment something goes wrong: a worn chain on a wet road, brakes that were never checked, or no replacement bike when the engine dies in Ubud on day three. Every bike in our fleet is inspected after each rental period, and if something fails we bring you another one.
Paying
Prices are quoted in rupiah and can be paid in cash or by card; card payments may carry a small processing fee. A deposit is agreed when you book — the amount depends on the bike. Booking goes through WhatsApp — send us the dates and the model, and we will confirm the exact price and whether delivery to your address is free.
